Waiting tables night after night seems to be the go-to job for most college students, but it has got to be one of the most stressful jobs out there. Most students, like myself, become servers at restaurants/bars so that they can make fast cash. I have come to the realization that there is really no more money to be made in the current restaurant I am in leading to even more stress. I spend 8+ hours standing on my feet waiting hand and foot on people who cannot even remember my name (it’s on my name tag). I do agree with the fact that it is the perfect job for students who are in college because of the flexible hours, but the added stress is simply not worth it.
